Welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Chris, my pronouns are they/she and I am a professional dancer, currently freelancing. Spill The MTea started as an idea for a theatre-based podcast while I was at uni. It has now developed into a wider and more creative, artsy platform for fellow theatre kids and stagey enthusiasts.

I’ve always been fascinated by the value of research and going that extra mile, that attention to detail for every show I’m coming across whether that is just for pure joy or for professional aspirations. I have such dreams and ambitions for this platform and this website is just the beginning!

I want this to be a space for me to develop my theatre critiquing skills and journalism (an avenue I would love to follow professionally one day) and share my love for the work our industry produces. Future plans include launching stationery products for performers (ex. planners, templates, lists and organizational tools) as well as interviews and industry-professional insights. One step at a time, this is my special hub with all things musical theatre :)

Some of my biggest inspirations and influences on this journey have been Youtube’s finest stagey couple; Mickey JoTheatre and Aeron James. The way they experience theatre-going, and the knowledge and fairness of their judgement is something I strive for and am majorly inspired by.
